The ‘toofani’ actors who have endorsed popular aerated drink have been served with legal notice. A notice has been issued against Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Mahesh Babu for being the brand ambassadors of the leading cola brand-Thumbs Up.
After Maggi, Indian Health Ministry is aggressively taking up issues and complaints related to Food Safety Standards of various products in the market. Since the brand has been found guilty under the Food Safety Act 2006, the company and its brand ambassadors have been snapped with notices. Complaint was filed in Madhya Pradesh.
It wasn’t long ago that Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta were served with notice against them too for endorsing Maggi.
Looks like the thumb is about to go down and won’t be Thumbs Up for much longer! After Maggi and Thumbs Up, what else would be banned?
