After the star cast of Kalank was announced, there was excitement in the fans as the film would see the reunion of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit after 21 years. They were amongst the most loved onscreen couples of all time with movies like Saajan (1991) and Khalnayak (1993) becoming blockbusters.
