This year the B’Town divas gave some mind blowing performances. We saw them experimenting with their looks and going beyond their comfort zone. Priyanka Chopra excelled in her performance as Mary Kom, Parineeti Chopra’s crazy antics in “Hasee Toh Phasee” made us laugh, Kangana Ranaut played her character in “Queen” like a dream, and so were the other performances.

So here’s a list of actresses who gave outstanding performance in 2014:

Priyanka Chopra:

Priyanka Chopra’s first release of 2014 was Ali Abbas Zafar’s “Gunday”. She played an undercover cop in the movie and was appreciated for her performance.

Alia Bhatt:

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with “Student of the Year” in 2012. In 2014 she was seen in “Highway”, “2 States” and “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”.

In “Highway” she played a teenage girl who develops Stockholm syndrome after being abducted. Praising her for her performance in the movie, critics said that she has grown as an actor and is one of the most promising new comers in the industry. “2 States” saw her play a south Indian girl opposite Arjun Kapoor. Alia was praised for making her character so real and playing it with such ease.

Her last release in 2014 was “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”. Alia played Kavya Pratap Singh and received mixed responses for her performance.

Vidya donned 12 avatars in the movie and was appreciated for her performance.

Deepika Padukone:

On the Bollywood front, Deepika Padukone was seen in “Finding Fanny” and “Happy New Year”. In “Finding Fanny” she played the character of a young widow.
